They used to have to come to us because WE were the business. Not just the Beatles, the artists, all of us. But not anymore. It's a business now, and business is no fun. They snap their fingers and we'd fuckin' better deliver or they've got someone else who can...The only reason I did it all in the first place was that it was fun and I didn't want to work."

the Asserter Test finished! |
you chose AY - your Enneagram type is EIGHT.
"I must be strong"
Asserters are direct, self-reliant, self-confident, and protective.
How to Get Along with Me
- Stand up for yourself... and me.
- Be confident, strong, and direct.
- Don't gossip about me or betray my trust.
- Be vulnerable and share your feelings. See and acknowledge my tender, vulnerable side.
- Give me space to be alone.
- Acknowledge the contributions I make, but don't flatter me.
- I often speak in an assertive way. Don't automatically assume it's a personal attack.
- When I scream, curse, and stomp around, try to remember that's just the way I am.
What I Like About Being a Eight
- being independent and self-reliant
- being able to take charge and meet challenges head on
- being courageous, straightforward, and honest
- getting all the enjoyment I can out of life
- supporting, empowering, and protecting those close to me
- upholding just causes
What's Hard About Being a Eight
- overwhelming people with my bluntness; scaring them away when I don't intend to
- being restless and impatient with others' incompetence
- sticking my neck out for people and receiving no appreciation for it
- never forgetting injuries or injustices
- putting too much pressure on myself
- getting high blood pressure when people don't obey the rules or when things don't go right
Eights as Children Often
- are independent; have an inner strength and a fighting spirit
- are sometimes loners
- seize control so they won't be controlled
- fugure out others' weaknesses
- attack verbally or physically when provoked
- take charge in the family because they perceive themselves as the strongest, or grow up in difficult or abusive surroundings
Eights as Parents
- are often loyal, caring, involved, and devoted
- are sometimes overprotective
- can be demanding, controlling, and rigid

The Misfits This is where you belong in the annals of punk history! |
| You're pretty cool but sometimes the problem is, is that you know it. 9 times out of ten, you are the life of any party you go to, just be careful not to put your logo on everything you can. What you lack in substance, you more than make up for with style and flare. You are definately one of a kind, but don't let it go to your head... oh yeah, I probably wouldn't want to mess with you or tell you this to your face. |

strange days indeed...most peculiar mamma...
lost two guys...found two guys...in a band again...was I ever out? I don't think I was...don't you love it when people answer their own questions? of course you do.

Not quite sure what's happening (hey, hey, hey) with that.

Burnt Toast is fun, even if drumming is not.
It's always good to find out that someone has (or had, whatever) a problem with you when you think everything's all good. Oh well, it's not the first time it's happened. I'm sure it won't be the last. For the record, I've always liked you, Mike.
My kid is crawling, sitting up by himself, biting me every chance he gets, and I swear he's about to say "dada" (or "mama", but of course I'm leaning towards the former). He is, without a doubt, the coolest person I have ever met...and by the smell of things, he just crapped his pants. |

Unfortunately, I missed Silence the Wake and Capone 'cuz we were playing at the same time. My face hurts, and yes, I'm sure it's killin' you as well.

| | pissy again, I guess | ] | ...all I'm saying is if you want to get me (or Jason, for that matter) to do something, telling all of my friends that I'm acting like a "rock star" isn't the way to do it. Usually a good place to start is simply talking to me...oh, wait...if you did that, you might actually understand where I'm coming from. We can't have that, can we? Heck no. Also, this way I don't even get the chance to hear your side of things, which is good, because we don't really want to over complicate things. No, I think it's better this way. The more petty drama into our lives, the better, because, let's face it, there is a shortage of petty drama in the local music scene. |
